How
to create your dream bathroom in 5 easy steps:
- There are many issues to consider when
planning your bathroom renovation. Keep water pressure, plumbing
restrictions, boiler capabilities and the best way to maximise
space in mind at the planning stage. These are areas I am able
to advise you on to minimise problems during the implementation
stage, to ensure your bathroom functions as well as it looks!
- Unless you plan to update your bathroom
regularly, choose sanitary ware that won’t date. Clean and
uncluttered bathrooms are often the most successful. eg: Neutral
sanitary ware with walls clad in wood or stone can be updated
with a simple coat of paint and a few accessories.
- If you have children, it is advisable
to choose a bath, which is double-ended with a centrally mounted
wall tap for bath time ease. Taps suitable for all ages and thermostatically
controlled are also items which need to be considered to prevent
scalding.
- The toilet costs the most to move. If
you're considering changing your bathroom layout and are on a
budget, try to leave the toilet in the same position. Make sure
your budget covers bathroom products, installation and tiling.
We advise allowing for a small contingency for changes and accessories.
- Arrange delivery of your sanitary
ware at least one (1) week prior to the planned start date.
